WASSCE for school candidates is written by students in their final year of secondary school, usually around May/June. Your school handles registration.

During registration
  • Check that your name, date of birth and photograph are correct. Your name should match your birth certificate and the name you will use for JAMB.
  • Make sure you register the subjects you need for your intended course, including English and Mathematics.

Preparing
  • Follow the WAEC syllabus for each subject.
  • Practise past questions, including the essay and theory sections.
  • For practical subjects, practise the practicals with your teacher.

Ask subject questions in the O-Level Subject Help forums.
