Collecting your certificate
School candidates usually collect their certificate through their school once WAEC releases certificates. Private candidates collect from WAEC as directed.
Verification / confirmation of results
Universities and employers sometimes need WAEC to confirm your result directly. This is requested through WAEC's official channels for a fee. Check waecnigeria.org for the current process.
Name or detail corrections
If your name is wrong on your result, contact your school and WAEC as soon as possible. Corrections are much harder years later.
Make sure your WAEC name matches your JAMB profile; mismatches cause problems at admission.
