Two documents save students a lot of trouble.

The syllabus
The UTME syllabus lists every topic examined in each subject. Read it before you start studying so you do not waste time on topics that are not tested, and do not skip ones that are. Many CBT practice apps include it.

The brochure
The brochure lists, for each school and course:
  • the UTME subject combination required
  • the O-Level subjects you need credits in
  • any special conditions, for example for Direct Entry

Requirements can differ between schools for the same course, so check the brochure entry for your school before you register. Both are available through JAMB's official website and portal.
