CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System) is where JAMB shows admission offers. You check it on your JAMB profile.

Before admission
  • Make sure your O-Level result is uploaded to your JAMB profile. Without it, your school may not be able to offer you admission.
  • Check that your course choices on CAPS are what you want.

Common statuses
  • Admission in progress: your school is still processing. This can take weeks.
  • Not admitted: you have not been offered admission by that school, or not yet.
  • Admitted: you have an offer. You must log in and accept or reject it.

Accept or reject carefully. Rejecting an offer can mean losing that place. If the offer is for a course you did not choose, ask your school before rejecting.

After accepting, follow your school's own acceptance fee and clearance steps.
