What can be corrected
JAMB allows correction of things like name spelling, date of birth, gender and state of origin, and change of course or institution, through its official portal. Some corrections need supporting documents.
How it generally works
- Log in to your profile on the JAMB portal.
- Pay for the correction or change service you need.
- Complete it on the portal or at an accredited CBT centre, as JAMB directs.
Tips
- Make sure your name matches your O-Level result exactly. Mismatches cause trouble at clearance.
- If you change course or school, check the new choice's subject combination and O-Level requirements first.
- JAMB sets deadlines for changes each year; check them on jamb.gov.ng.
