A credit in Mathematics is required for many courses, including most science, engineering, business and social science courses.

Tips
  • Cover every topic in the syllabus; theory questions can come from anywhere.
  • Always show your working. Method marks count even if the final answer is wrong.
  • Practise with a calculator you will be allowed to use.
  • Do full past papers under time.

Further Mathematics goes deeper into algebra, calculus, vectors and statistics. It helps for engineering and science courses, but check whether your course requires it.

Post questions with your working so others can see where you got stuck.
